SUMMARY:Smyrna Delaware TTE
DESCRIPTION:The United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA) will conduct a 3-day Technology Training Event (TTE) at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center\, 1181 Paddock Rd\, Smyrna\, Delaware (19977)\, September 23–25\, 2025. \nThe USBTA and the Delaware State Police Bomb Squad\, along with a variety of Industry\, will conduct a Technology Training Event (TTE) involving multiple disciplines and equipment related to Military and Public Safety Bomb Technicians\, missions at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center and the Delaware State Police (DSP) Training Center\, 391 Clark Farm Rd\, Smyrna\, DE 19977. This TTE meets formal training requirements for Bomb Technician proficiency\, as outlined in the national guidelines for Bomb Squads. \nUnder the supervision of DSP and USBTA Observer Controllers (OCs)\, the Bomb Technicians will have classroom and hands-on training with State-of-the-Art Equipment including X-Ray\, Homemade Explosives\, Robotics\, Bomb Suits\, Rigging\, UAVs\, Disruptors\, and receive information on Emerging Threats and Case Studies. \nOperation Lockdown Forms
