The Office for Bombing Prevention (OBP) will conduct a 3-day Technology Training Event for Critical Infrastructure (TTE-CI) at Kansas Speedway, 400 Speedway Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66111 May 5-7, 2026.
The Technology Training Event involves multiple disciplines and equipment related to Military and Public Safety Bomb Technicians, missions at Kansas Speedway. This TTE-CI meets formal training requirements for Bomb Technician proficiency, as outlined in the national guidelines for Bomb Squads.
Under the supervision Observer Controllers (OCs), the Bomb Technicians will have classroom and hands-on training with state-of-the-art equipment including x-ray, homemade explosives, robotics, bomb suits, rigging, UAV’s, disruptors, and receive information on emerging threats and case snkansastudies.
