The United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA) proudly hosted the AUKUS Forum industry delegation at its headquarters in Indian Head, Maryland, for a day focused on fostering collaboration, innovation, and strengthening international partnerships among industry, academia, and government entities.

The United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA), headquartered at the Maryland Technology Center located within the Western Charles County Technology Corridor, has been selected by the Maryland Department of Commerce as the newest Maryland Global Gateway Soft Landing Partner.

The Maryland Department of Commerce completed its distribution of the Rural Maryland Economic Development Funds (RMEDF) to the United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA) located in Indian Head, Maryland. The purpose of these funds is to support infrastructure projects that will support economic growth, stimulate private investment, and grow jobs in the state’s rural counties.

During the 2022 legislative session, the Maryland Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO) was pleased to be named as the recipient of $2.5 million to address critical infrastructure needs to support national defense and strategic economic development initiatives in Southern Maryland. The money was allocated in the form of a Capital Grant that was accepted as part of the Maryland Board of Public Works agenda in late January.

On August 4th 2022, the USBTA hosted Congressman Steny Hoyer from Maryland’s 5th Congressional District to give a brief on USBTA operations and future projects.  The Brief included a tour of the Bomb Disposal Technology and Training Center (BDTTC) with support from the Maryland Fire Marshal Bomb Squad.
