

International partners were presented with the training practices of police explosives technicians, in particular in the field of demining, detection and neutralization of explosive objects and improvised explosive devices. The guests were acquainted with the material base, capabilities and achievements of the academy in training specialists in wartime conditions.


During a subsequent roundtable discussion, participants discussed the current needs of the explosives service, as well as ways to improve the education and training of specialists to counter modern threats, in particular those related to the use of improvised explosive devices. The parties also considered the possibilities of international support for conducting thematic trainings and expanding the training of police explosives technicians.



The head of the police academy, Maksym Kaptenko, thanked the partners for their support, emphasizing its special importance in times of war and expressing hope for the further development of effective cooperation. Representatives of international organizations, in turn, noted a common vision of priorities and readiness to support the initiatives of Ukrainian law enforcement officers.
