The United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA) will conduct a Focused Technology Training Exercise (FTTE) at the USBTA Indian Head, Maryland facility.

This course is not intended for intermediate or advanced “power users” of 3D printers.
Course Overview
This will be a 3-day introductory level course focused on the practical implementation of FDM 3D printing programs in military and public safety bomb technician units. The objective of this course is to enable units and departments to successfully stand up and sustain a basic 3D printing program, leveraging additive manufacturing to:
- Drive efficiency
- Foster innovation
- Reduce logistics costs
- Improve responsiveness to emerging operational requirements
