The United States Bomb Technician Association (USBTA) and the United States CBRNE Hazmat Technician Association (USCHTA) both 501(c)(3), will conduct a 3-day Technology Training Exercise (TTE) at the Phoenix Fire Special Operations Division, Phoenix PD Bomb Squad Range in Phoenix, Arizona.
The USBTA, USCHTA, The Phoenix Police Department Bomb Squad the Phoenix Fire Department Special Operations Team along with a variety of Industry will conduct a Technology Training Exercise involving multiple disciplines and equipment related to Military and Public Safety Bomb and Haz-Mat Technicians, missions in Real life environments. This TTE meets formal training requirements for Bomb and Haz-Mat Technician proficiency, in standard Haz-Mat instruction and outlined in the national guidelines for Bomb Squads.
Under the supervision of USBTA and USCHTA Observer Controllers (OCs), the Technicians will have classroom and hands on training with State-of-the-Art Equipment including X-Ray, Homemade Explosives, Chemical Detection, Robotics, Bomb and Haz-Mat Suits, Rigging, UAV’s, Disruptors, Shape Charges and receive information on Emerging Threats and Case Studies.
